From 2006-2009 I ran a website called Brotherhood of the Octopus, which was like Soundcloud but for a small group of friends. It was my main creative outlet during that time, which was one of the most chaotic periods of my life. Over those three years I created dozens of tracks, mostly with a laptop, a little circuit bent gear, and a microphone. The images and titles that accompanied each track were as much a part of the process as the music. Titles and lyrics came from randomized spam content, and images were created to match the title. The original site is now offline. To preserve the project and document this process, this album contains every track I created for the site, in the order they were posted. They cover a wide range stylistically, but generally tend toward electro and idm.
